Very common occurrence these days ...recommend you call the 1-800 number and talk to a supervisor (you will have to insist that you want to speak with a supervisor) ...wait for few days and if nothing happens get an InfoPass. You can appeal after 120 days. Also, research the forum . there are multiple threads on this subject ...And check you mailbox every day :-)

I had my interview on 1/11/2010 in Fairfax and I am still waiting for an answer. I was told it can take up to 120 days but I have known it can take longer. On another forum this poor gentleman has been waiting for a year. Very frustrating.

An appeal can only be filed after a denial..you don't have to wait 120 days after interview. What you probably meant to say is that you can file a 1447(b) lawsuit if USCIS doesn't adjudicate your case within 120 days after interview.

Hi z28eater,

Thank you for sharing your experience with USCIS blues, so your interview was on 01/11/2010 in Fairfax, VA.

Hi Wavejazz1,

I hope you are following linuxrox case, Though he passed his interview, case is approved, name change is approved by court, he is in the process of sending letters to congressman/senators, has taken several infopass etc.

You did mention in your other thread that the delay could be because you made changed to your application at the interview. Would be able to share what kind of changes you made?

Also, if you send letters to congressmen/senators, at least you will get to know what is the real reason for delay in your case.

good luck.
