N-400 Spouce Immigration Status - Divorced - Spouse Never Came to US

Hi,

I'm filing N400. I am divorced. My spouse never came to US. We were married for couple of years.

Under section F-2, I am selectiong "Other" but how to explain?

Write N/A or "Not in US".

Do you mean Part 8, F-2? Check "Other", then explain as "None. Never came to US"

The question is little bit tricky. My understanding is: you should put your spouse's status during your marriage. For example, if you he/she was say, for example, Indian National then you should put Indian National. I think the only time you need to do some explaining is when your spouse was in the US less than a greencard or citizenship...good luck

If u are divorced. You need to include ur ex's info in ur application and ofcourse, add your divorce certificate.
