On the part where it asks for past employment etc. If I worked at the school as a student employee while as a student does that count as employment?

Yes i know this question may have an obvious answer but I rather make sure than be sorry later :p

Yes, it does. Especially if you filed taxes and declared its income.- :)

the fact is.....even if you missed that and leave it blank because the employment is couple years back, they are not going to deny your application just becuase of not putting the correct employment history.

Ok, thanks

One more question, for the photo's does it have to be exactly 2x2 inches? the postal worker basically used scissors to cut mine and they are not 2x2 inches

where did you guys get your photographs done?

Back when I was filing for 485/ead remember my lawyer had suggested a special place to go to and get photos done.. man that was damn expensive too.. Do I need to something like that again? or regular costco/sams ones ok?

I was just looking over example photos over USCIS, these are different than green card photos.. looks like these are regular passport style photos. The ones for GC had some special requirements like side view and all...

You can in fact do them yourself if you have a digital camera, and a program like Photoshop. Walmart will do a 1 hr print with online submission, for 0.19 and you can easily fit 6 passport size photos onto a 6*4 photo. Just carefully read the specs for the photo and it is pretty easy. This beats $10 a time, especially given the number of photos you need with immigration related stuff. You can also take the photos over and over again until you have one you like, rather than the usually crappy passport photos.

The GC photo requirements are now the same as for naturalization and passport(full frontal view).

I took my own pictures on white background, cropped it in photo editor, and send it off to Walmart online. Total cost $1.26

I did my kid's passport photos myself and it did cost like 20c for 6 photos.

guess I can do them myself. thanks guys

20c for 6 photos? What did you use, crayons? :D

Oh, I had square image lined up back to back on a photo 6 times in 2X3 fasion. so when you print that on a 4"x6" print, it will give you 6 photos when cut accurately(This will also ensure that photo is 2"x2"). and walmart I remember charges like some 19-20c, or something like that for a 4"x6" print right?

Great idea..yes, Walmart charges something ike 9 cent for in store processing of 4x6, and 15 cents for online.
