N-400 process and Interview experience in Dallas DO

What documentation do I need to submit for N-400. What has been the experience of those who have interviewed at the Dallas D.O. What is the time frame from filing the N-400 to getting the interview? Is it improving?

In general, I think the interview experience in Dallas is pretty good. Check out the Dallas "Timeline" thread. Most people are in and out in around 15-20 minutes.

The timeframe got better near the end of last summer through the fall last year, but it has slowed down recently again. I haven't been keeping a very close eye on the timelines in the Timeline thread, but it seems to be taking about 6-8 months or so from "priority date" to citizenship oath if all goes well (if things don't go well, it can take substantially longer).
