N-400 Part6 - "Resident"

Hi, I have question about "resident".
I did not break any 6 months rule, but I traveled to Japan twice and stayed with my family for about 5 months each. For each time I gave up my apartment in the U.S. Shall I write my parents' address in Japan in N-400 Part 6? Also, when I came back to U.S., I stayed at my friend's place for 2 months before settle down my new apartment. Shall I include my friend's apartment address as resident in Part 6? Your advice is greatly appreciated.

where you receiving any bills or any mail when you were 5 months away? I would put that address there (probably your friend). Yes include your friend's apartment as well as you lived there as well. You have to establish that you still have ties to the US even when you were in Japan
