Hi
I am preparing my application but seem to be stuck at this question about time outside the US.
I came to US about Nov 2011, changed status (Adjustment of Status) and received by green card April 2012. So that's a timeline of about 3.5 years until present. I'm eligible for citizenship now (been married to US citizen for 6 years). The current N-400 form asks how many *days* I have spent "outside the US in the last 5 years".
I have record of all the trips I have undertaken outside US since becoming Permanent Resident (or even before that). But about 3.5 years ago, I have spent pretty much all of my days outside US.
Should I just pick a date and start counting days until my arrival date in US, and put that in that box (plus any additional travels since my arrival)?
