Got there an hour early, waited 40 min past my appointment time (so overall wait about 1 hr 40 min). The interview itself was around 15 minutes. The first thing the IO asked for were my green card and passport. He spoke slow and clear and was polite. I got asked 10 questions and missed 2 of them. I don't remember all the questions but the two I missed were:
Q: Who elects the president? (A: electoral college) P.S. I said the voters. Oops!
Q: Who is the top person in the executive branch? <-- I don't remember the exact wording, but the answer was the president. I misunderstood & said the governor. Oops again!
There were also some easy questions like the colors of the flag, etc.
He also asked for proof of me living at my current address, like a utility bill. I didn't bring one because it wasn't listed as a required document in the interview letter. He said it was fine.
I was approved but need to wait for an oath letter to come in the mail. He said it will be in one of two cities closer to where I live, depending how many people are taking the oath this year. It only happens once a year on July 4th so I need to wait until then. We don't get a lot of immigrants here in the midwest .
