I had my N-400 interview last week JAN 09, passed the English and US history tests, but i was given N14 to mail some documents such as proof of income, rent, bank, credit card, loan since feb 2002, when i became the LPR(JUN 2002) and the list of all trips to present date with all the passports.
I have almost all of the above documents, IRS TRANSCRIPTS FOR LAST 10 YEARS, loan of car and auto insurance, bank and credit card statments, driving record, credit reoport, stock investment etc. I had the lease in my name in 2007 but most of the time i was a roommate all past years. The persons i stayed with, i can get a notarized letter from them that i rented the room for such period. I have also employement letter from my company.
Actually , due to sickness of my father and i being only male member available there, I stayed outside USA total of apprx 22 months(6 months, 11 months 29 days and 4 months) in different period of time in the first 5 years of LPR statutory period and had 2 addtitional trips after five years period, the one was for 2 months trip just after applying of N-400(25 MAR 07) i left on 27 mar on the death of my father(have death certificate) and second was i left 20th JAN08 and returned in 10 months as i went to marry and i had to stay with my wife there due to unexpected circumstances because there was no one available in my and her family to stay with her in my absence.
i never terminated my employment here in the US and i did not work in my country nor i purchased any property there. I did not close any accounts and i was in full access to my abode here in the usa, such as maintaining bank accounts, credit cards, payed rent, filed all taxes. Whenever i returned to usa i resumed my work in the same company. Now i have a little daughter born in Dec in my country of origin. I also told the CIS OFFICER that i want to bring them to US as i am settelled here for last 13 years. The officer showed concerns about the medical condition of my newborn because my newborn baby has been infected.
I just want to know where i stand now?
what documents i should send them as i have lived and settelled here for last 13 years and all of my trips to my country occured due to the circumstances beyond my control. As i never went to my country of origin with intention of lengthy stay but the circumstances changed there which compelled me to stay longer.
