N-400 hand write or fill it out before printing?

Hi,

I downloaded the N-400 PDF and it gives me the option to type my info directly into the PDF and then print. Should I do that and then just sign the printed form at the bottom or should I print the empty form and hand write all my info on it?

I guess these 2 questions decide what you need to do, and you are the best judge for these. If handwriting, remember to PRINT wherever required, or everywhere.

I guess the OP has a printer because he need to print N400 (filled or unfilled ) anyway

A better question is: do you have a copy machine or scanner? If not, then fill it before printing
and print two copies - one to send to USCIS and the other to jkeep as a record. If you have a copier or a scanner, then you can print a blank N400, fill it and then make a copy as record froyoru self.

Either way I think it has great advantage to fill it first before printing.
