N-400 form

i download the N-400 form from USCIS web site and the version of the form is: form N-400 (ref. 10/15/07)

in the box right hand side at the top which says:

Write your USCIS "A" - number here:
A ......


i able to enter my A number on that box for the first page only and when i scroll down to the page 2 and i see that the box is empty and is not suppose to fill automatically from the page 1 to all pages ?

or i'm missing something?

Yes, it's supposed to automatically appear on all pages, once you enter it on the first page. If it doesn't just copy and paste it.

This seems to the clue: 10/15/07 The form seems to be a latest one, So maybe a few bugs needs to be ironed out ? Most os us used 2006 based forms when we filled mid last year. Let me also play with it and see and what I find

i would love to do copy and paste but unfortunately its not allowing me to write anything or paste anything....starting from second page all the pages are disabled whichi means i can not put the mouse cursor on their or write anything on that box

I just tried and the A number is filled automatically on all pages. which version of adobe do you have? I have Version 7.0.5.xxx
Also I tried all formats, 123456789, 12345678, 123-456-789. In all formats, it gets copied to all pages.

thanks for the confirmation and i have acrobat 6.0 professional and i guess i have to upgrade to higher version.

I have Acrobat Professional 7 at work, and Acrobat Reader at home. The form that I filled out worked fine on both versions (although this was the previous edition of the form). Have you tried saving the form to your hard drive and opening it from there?

i upgrade to 6.5 and its working as i was expecting.
