I have a question and I hope someone could clarify this for me because I don't trust the USCIS customer service (every time I call I get a different answer)
I filed my N-400 back in January and received fingerprint notice yesterday.
The only part I don't understand is that they scheduled it in Norfolk, Va. I live in NC, so my closest office would be Charlotte. My question is - if Norfolk is handling my fingerprints does it mean that I'll have my interview there later?
I wouldn't mind driving 240 miles because the timeline is much better for Norfolk. Your response will be greatly appreciated- I just wonder if that means that I'm assigned to norfolk now.
