N -400 filing to Naturalization-Oklahoma City Experience

Hello everyone:

I have also reached the end of line and my long journey has a happy ending :) Thanks so much to everyone here for help and advice. Here is summary of my experience for future OKC applicants:

Interview was straight forward & took may be 15 minutes (details posted in October 2010 post).
Oath ceremony: reported at 9:30 AM to court house and paper work was checked. Actual ceremony was at noon & took just 30 minutes :)

Oct 28th - N-400 Sent (TX)
Oct 29th - N-400 Received
Nov 2nd - Checks cashed
Nov 3rd - I-797C NOA received - PD Oct 29
Nov 22 - FP done
Dec 16 - IL received
Dec 29 - YL received
Jan 31 - Interview done
Feb 28 - Oath letter
March 25 - Oath :)

I am going through OKC too, not that many of us.
Doesn't look like the timeline is as bad as the USCIS website states for OKC.
How was it?
Any tips etc?

It took less than 5 months for every thing.

The over all experience was very good. Just do what you are suppose to do & wait patiently!

I had No problems.

Its just the waiting for your turn kills one :)

about oath

hey in oklahoma oath will be aftr a month of interview ... is it right? or what is waiting period after id for oath?
