N-400 Denied, when can I reapply again?

Hello,

My mom got N400 application denial with reason of not meeting continous residency requirements due to incorrect dates filed in N 400 form accidently. Denial notice tells she can reapply after 4 years 1 day from date of return from absent notice.

Need guidance should we wait for that time period which was given based on incorrect dates or should we just reapply N400?

I say just reapply with the correct information, but put a cover letter explaining that the previous one was wrong.

Do I need to wait for eligibility as mentioned in denial notice after 4 years 1 day from date of return from absent notice for applying again ? or I can apply asap?

Does fingerprinting and interview gets skipped on second time applying?
