N-400 Corrections

Shortly after receiving the receipt notice from USCIS I noticed that my first name was spelled incorrectly when I was about to change my address with USCIS. I called NCS and the rep took down my new address and the correct spelling of my name. She said that I would receive a notice of corrections within a month.
Nearly two months later, I received the notice. My address was correct but my name was still not corrected. I called them again and this time the rep told me that the system would not allow her to correct my name.
I double checked with the photocopy of my application and I spelled my name correctly. So the mistake was when they inputed it into their system. I sent off a certified letter VSC to correct my information.
I'm thinking about making an appointment thru infopass to personally make the corrections to my name.
Anyone have a similar experience?

Thanks

Wait until your file reaches the DO and then request the change in person.

Deal via the DO. The SVC Center does not handle these errors unless you file an I90 - app to replace PR card

I haven't even received a date for my fingerprints. Should I write to Norfolk now or just wait till I have a date with them?
Thanks
