N-400 Application Incomplete

Hi,

I mailed my N-400 application yesterday. Today, I realized that I forgot to mark two check boxes in the application. I filled my application using the PDF template and due to oversight I didn't check the one box in the Good Moral Character and another box in oath requirement.

Does INS send the application back to me to answer missing info or do they get this missing information during interview. Is there any thing I can do resolve this issue. Please advice.

Thanks,

Raj

Applications are first processed by service centers (cashing check, preliminery scrutiny, scheduling of FP and putting together the case in your A-file) and then the action shifts to the disctict office. DO is where your case is actually adjudicated thru interview process. You will surely get a chance to modify/add information to your N400 application at the time of interview. I am not sure if the service center would engage in dialog with you regarding the missing items on your application. Just wait for your receipt notice and FP notice. Usually these steps are completed in about 4 to 6 weeks after you file the application. The above info is based on my personal experience with NSC. The timeframe could vary for other service centers.
