Hey Guys,

In my initial interview last month I was handed N-14 (Request for more evidence) and was told to come back in November for another interview. Any idea how this 2nd interview is conducted and if the decision is made on the spot (If you meet the requirements of course)?

The 2nd interview is conducted like the first except that this time you have the requested document. They may render a decision on the spot depending on IO.

Thanks Bob for your quick response. In my initial interview I was told to prove if my marriage is Legit. The IO told me to show her joint lease, utility bills etc but I live in my cousin house. Its a big house and he sublet a portion to me. There is no lease but I pay monthly rent. Will it be sufficient to have a letter from him stating that? or do I have to submit the additional documents Please advice.

I think so. You might show the letter (example can be found at this link: http://boards.immigration.com/showthread.php?t=288096)

What documents do you have available? tax return showing your address, driver license, bank statements showing your address, any other bills (like phone bills), cable tv bills, etc. if you don't have them, I am not sure how you would prove them to IO.

This is what I got for the interview
1- Affidavit from my cousin ( Owner of the house) regarding the sublet of the apartment and all the utility bills in his name.
2- Letter from health insurance showing coverage for the last three years for both of us.
3- Prescription insurance (different from the health) showing coverage for both of us for the last 3 years.
4- Joint bank statements and letter from the bank for the last eight years.
5- Vehicle policy showing coverage for both of us for the last 4 years.
6- A letter from My retirement plan showing her as a primary beneficiary for the last 3 years.
7- Few letter in the past three years address to both of us such as from Irs etc.

You think it will be sufficient or do I need to prove more? I got three children from this marriage.
