Hello, I am having a lot of troubles/stress. I need your help. On April 16 2013 I was given a n-14 form for missing evidence (register for selective service). I finally got that taken care of but the form says "return this letter with the requested information and/or documents by may 16 2013". So I'm a bit confused now what. Today I faxed my proof of selective service to the uscis office in chicago, but I have no idea if the received it of not. On Monday (may 6 2013) can I got to that same office where i took my interview without an appointment and just hand over the information that's needed? Or will they just shoo me away? If not i can over night mail it to that address, or I can make an appointment for May 13 2013 on infopass, I'm just really worried that's cutting it so close. Thanks for reading my problem, any solutions? One last note when I faxed the proof, I didn't include the n-14 form just the proof with my name. Ok peace

Since you didn't include the N-14 with your fax, more then likely they don't know who's file it belongs to.

I don't know about Chicago, but I know that Baltimore has a dropbox in the lobby to leave requested documents. However, an INFOPASS appointment might be better because that way you know an officer actually received the documentation. I know that May 13 is close to the deadline, but schedule for that date. If between now and then you receive a notice that the documentation has been received you can always cancel your appointment.

Yea Also on April 16 2013 after my interview my officer said that if I had the selective service then she could've gave me my oath appointment. So hopefully if I decide to bring the documents myself in on may 13 2013, hopefully he/she will give me an oath appointment right away as well. We will see :) il keep
Everyone posted

Ok for everyone who's interested in this and has the same problem, I promised to keep you informed and here's my results. On April 16 2013 at my 8:00am interview I passed everything, but since I'm 18 and wasn't registered for selective service they couldn't proceed.since I couldn't register online I had to mail it in. So after my interview I ran over to the post office and mailed in my registration the same Day. It took about 3 weeks to register, I checked on may 2 2013 and I was registered. Since I only had until may 16 2013 to get it back to my officer I was really nervous about sending it in the mail. So today may 6 2013, at 7:00am I just brought down the paper work to where I had my interview. The clerk stamped it and said "will get to your officer". So that's it guys hope i helped someone! now I wait for my ceremony letter :). Never have felt so stressed in my life.

Also a note to all, don't call the uscis 1800 number. They really don't anything and will tell you just a bunch of hunk. Lol
