My I-485 has been approved per the automated message at VSC. Checked the message today, approved on 7/25/00

EB 2, NIW self (got tired of the labor process filed in jan 1996 and switched to NIW)
Changed job twice in the same field
NO RFE
Talked to Immigration officer on 7/13, said should hear something in 4 - 6 weeks.

Rayapu, Hearty Congratulations!!! Quick question: did you inform INS (as per the law, do we have to?) about the two jobs you changed? Could you please let me know, because I am in the same boat and my lawyer is insisting uopn informing the INS. Thanks

I am not aware of any requirement to notify INS when you change jobs since mine is NEW self petition. Per my lawyer I submitted a employment letter when I filed my I-485.

I did not inform INS when I changed my job.
