My wife EAD is pending at LA office for 9 months. Thinking about IEAD. Questions

Lawyer applied for EAD renewal for myself and my wife together April 03. I got mine on July 03 but her app has been pending. The lawyer filed another renewal Jan 04 for both of us. We are thinking about going to LA office and get an IEAD using April 03's receipt. Will she get her IEAD? What will be the expiration date on IEAD? Please help.

HI,

You should go for IEAD. Normally they will issue IEAD for 240 days...in your case it should start from IEAD filling day...
Also call service center and tell him about your situation...they will initiate a inquiry on your case since it is more then 9 months...
