My thoughts of why 2001/2000 is watting while late 2002 got approved

I think it's all because of name check. some 2000/2001 cases (include me :( )did the first FP AUG or Sep 2004. Before our case got approved, we have to do the code1 or 3 again and that really takes time( I don't know how long). But late 2002 cases may still have their FP valid so they don't have to go though the name checking hassle again. That's what I thought

Dear Surprise 77:

I agreed with you. My lawyer told me FBI is handling 2003 & 2004's name checking backlog. We are belong to 2005 backlong, they even have no chance to touch us yet. From 1-485 ( not only asylum) into G/C, from G/C into citizenship. There are thousans of thousands people are stuck in name checking .It will cost another 2 years as my lawyer estimate till I can get my G/C. On the other hand, if our case have any problems, we would have been asked for interview already or denial you, even deport you from USA. we are belong to 5% unlucky people " hit" the name checking record.

We cannot do anything, just wait for the result. We can get G/C sooner or later.

In the meantime, we have to recover to our normal life: making money, travel, study, enjoy our lives. cheer up. cheer up.

Also, I feel greatly United States has given me protection as asylum, otherwize, I would have stayed in Communist's jail to do heavy labour or even sentence to death already. God bless America!!!

Do you think anyone cares? Besides, it already happened to me. That's how I know. Patience, patience and more patience and bug your senator before your medical expires and these morons force you to pay for it again and waste your time! :D

Why my lawyer told me to wait for another 2 years? FBI has only about 120 people in name checking department. They have to lots of daily checking for Visa, G/C, citizrnship, even anybody who will go inside white house for a meeting. Then 5% people like us are " hit". As my lawyer knows, there are about 4 hundred thousand people are ' stuck" in name checking, maybe more than that numbers totally. Do you think how many people can be manually cleared by FBI staff daily? So, we should give them time. Those FBI staff are too much overloaded with applicants. They are working very tiredly.
 
How do you guys know we were falling into the 5% category? Is it because we already waited for more than 2 month?

FBI number:202-324-2399. If you are lucky, somebody will pick up your phone. I hope we are not in that 5%. If not, you and I can get G/C in the following days like Mr. Want, our BOSS.

What Communist jail are you talking about? China? Mongolia? Wasn' t this a threat many many years ago???

China, I ran away from Communist China . China is still arresting anybody who wants to seek Democracy & Freedom for Chinese people. So from the 1990s till now, US government has given many many Chinese people here asylum. for example, in China, one couple only allows one baby, if you have second one, your political asylum is granted for Chinese in USA, Church goers, students movement, work movement, peasent movement, various kinds.
So, you could not use " PAST tense". It is still in danger. I guess 45% politica asylum in USA these years are escaped Chinese.

Yes.I like USA very much. This country saves my life. I am very loyal to USA now. I want to become an American citizen though my G/C is still pending. God Bless us!

That's true, I sat in a lot of sterilization cases from China in the immigration court, most of them were granted. I guess it's ease to forget that China is still a Communist regime with all these products 'Made in China' flooding the world market.

I agree with you. My ND is June 2000 (not 2001!) and as it turned out my name is being checked since August of 2003.
My FP have expired also because this process is taking so long. I tried to reach the FBI, but, of course, got nowhere exept a message instructing me to send them an inquiry via email.

Guys, look what I just received from AILA:
Ms. Morning,

Your case is current enroute to an officer and you should receive a decision
in
about 2 weeks. The reason that cases were work out of order is the fact
that
NSC will have all I-485 Asylum Adjustment cases completed by 9/30/2006 as
part
of the USCIS backlog reduction initiative to work about 75,000 to 80,000
cases.
Therefore, when a case needs additional information, that case will
naturally
take longer that a case that has all the required documentation and can be
decided without needing additional evidence. However, as stated above, your
case is on it's way to an officer and when they receive it, they will work
that
case.

It just confirms the suggestions that our cases happen to be at the bottom of the proverbial pile. USCIS is not processing the case chronologically, after all! Morons stealing years of life from us!!! :mad:

My LUD changed into Jan.10, 2006 today. It never changed since April 25, 2005.

Do you think somebody is checking my file?
