My spouse is filling I485 has following questions

My spouse is on H1B visa and is getting ready to start filing all these forms has the folliwing questions:

1. Is I-94 number & the non immigrant visa number - r they same

2) In Part 3. Under processing information, section B( List your present husband/wife..). does my husband need to include my details though I am the one sponsoring...

3. How early can he take the medical test ? He will be filing in June06, can he complete his medical test in May06?

4. where can we take the INS recommened photos ? is there a list of placess published anywhere ?

5. FORM G325A seems to be required by both I-485 & I-130. I got one set containing 4 pages downloaded from the I-485 package. DO I need to send the same set to I-130 also ?

Am I missing anyother forms( like I-131 or I-765) which require G325A ?

1. I-94 number and visa number are two different things. The visa number will be on the visa, stamped on the passport. The I-94 number will be on the I-94 card (arrival departure record) that he received at the port of entry upon his arrival in US.

2. My husband did fill out my name n details in this section - cuz our understanding was that it was required.

3. Medical reports are valid for one year and the statistics indicate that it is taking just around 4-8 months these days to get the I-485 approved. So he should be fine getting the medical exam in May (you must send the I-693 with I-485 or else you'd get an RFE for it which will delay your I-485). I'd say to play it safe... have ev thing ready and then get the medical done just a few days before you have to send the form (I-485 package) out. It takes only 3 days to get your medical reports.

4. There are no list of 'recommended places' for getting the photo, but there are specifications about the photo itself. A lot of photographers know what 'INS recommended' photos mean... some of them would even put sign boards about INS photos. You can get 'em anywhere... they just need to meet the specifications.

5. The sponsored immigrant requires to submit one set of form G-325 with I-130 and another with I-485. The sponsor also needs to submit one set of G-325 with I-130. [1 set = 4 pages of G-325, you can download the fillable form G-325 from USCIS website. This fillable form allows you to fill the first page and copies the info to the other three pages too].

I got mine taken at Walgreens. You can have your picures taken at any place where they take passport pictures

Yes.
I-130 = 1 set of G-325A from sponsor and 1 set from applicant
I-485 = 1 set of G-325A from applicant

1 set = 4 pages


Am I missing anyother forms( like I-131 or I-765) which require G325A ?
No. G-325A is only for I-130 and I-485

you should be looking at G-325A. It consist of 4 pages.
