I think it is better from a relative rather than a friend. And I have read some wwhere that it is better to get it from Mother's side familly ( dont know the reason).

What happens after RFE resp is received by VSC?

All,

VSC received my RFE resp on 11/4. Does any one know what happens after they receive the resp.?

Usually, you should hear from them (about approval) in a couple of weeks or less provided your namecheck was done and you have satisfied the RFE.
The only way (that I know of) to know whether namecheck is done is by emailing FBI and hoping to get a reply back from them. I have already sent 2 emails and awaiting a response.

how did they ask about W2s

hey hakoonamataata, I want to know how did they ask in your RFE for tax-returns/w2, I mean
did they ask like 2002 and 2003 tax returns
or
did they ask to send last two years of tax returns???

I do not have the RFE with me right now. But, I believe it said something to the effect of "last two tax returns". I ll double-check later this evening and let you know if it says otherwise.

In my case, they asked for last two years of tax returns. They never metioned the specific years.
