My RD 09/25/01 and LIN# 02-02 in EB2 Adj. Why this 02-02 stands for ?, Please reply your opinion ...

LIN NUMBER ROLL OVER

LIN numbers rolls over and starts from 1 from October of every year(Fiscal Year).

This 02-02 means your applications was put in the system on the second working day of 2002.

Hi Leeko, If it is true then

September comes before October and how come september is 2 and October is 1??Please can you give more details.Thanks in advance.
My RD=09/27/01 and my my 485 lin no also starts with 02-021-XXXX.
 
My 2 cents...

The LIN number is more closer to the ND than RD; though your RD is in Sept, your ND (the day they pickup your application and enter it into the system) would be in Oct.
