1. Application sent to Buffalo - March 16th 2001
2. File no receipt - May 10th, 2001 with interview waived
3. Letter for medical - Aug 11th, 2001
4. Medical done - Aug 13th, 2001
5. Landing permit received - October 1st, 2001

Thanks for your post. It is very helpful for people like us who are waiting for PR. I have one question. When did you know that your interview is not required? Did they send any letter with your file number? I received the file number just saying that I can expect medical forms in 20 weeks and did not mention about the interview. Does it mean interview is required? Could you please answer my question?

In the letter of file no.

The letter of file no indicated that \'you interview is waived this time but during the accessment of your application the officer may decide to call you for interview.\' I do not remember exact wordings but it was similar to that.
