Ihave an approved petition as married son of an US Citizen, unfortunately, my mother (petitioner) died after the petition was approved, a month ago I received the bill to pay the DS-230 I & II forms. What can I expect and do?, Is still good this petition? If some body had before a similar case, please help me!
Tony28270, thanks for your attention.
My mother was my petitioner, I'm a married son of a U.S.Citizen, actually I have receive the bill to pay form DS 230, application for immigration visa and alien registration, and my brother who is also USC goes to give me the affidavit of support, also my stepfather (USC) can help me with an other pettition. At the same time, I know others in similar situation were never asked for the pettitioner in the final interview. So, what is your opinion?
thanks for your help again.
Your brother could consult a lawyer for there is a humantarian law that is out if a petitioner dies.It is safer than concealing the fact and get caught in the process.
