this is my first post on this forum. but I really appreciate information provided here by you folks. I would like to share my experience with you guys:

I applied as EB2, under the Master degree and No experience.

It is a small company, only has 3 employee on the payrol.

I do not have any working experience. actually I am not working for the company at the moment.

My PERM is filed on March 26th, and got certified today, May 18th. It does not take too long.

My lawyer began to prepare all materials last year, when we wanted to file at the end of the year, we found that the PWD's expiration date is 12/31/2005, so my lawyer reapplied for PWD, it takes about one week with expiration date of 12/31/2006.

Though this new pwd determine date is 1/8/2006, it will not affect all our previous hiring work which is finished last year.

(to be continued)

Congrats!!1 :)

Was your case processed by Atlanta PERM Center or Chicago PERM Center?

If you don't know, which state was your case filed from?

I have read most posts here and have very often discuss with my lawyer, since I knew her when we were at Yale University, I can always discuss everything with her straitforward.

Here are some lessons and summaries that I have had through the whole procedure.

PERM is a computer system, it mostly depends on COMPUTER PROGRAMS, so try your best to keep your case from being audited or denied, for example:

A) if you use the address that is PO Box, then you will be denied

B) if the job needs special language requirement, then it will be audited, my job actully needs other language, but we did not put it in job requirement, since it will incure auditing

C) Prevailing wage determination date is important, do not make simple and stupid mistake on it.

and there are many other issues on ETA Form 9089 that we need to be careful.

PERM is not complicated, but we need to follow the rule, make your case SIMPLE INSTEAD OF BEING COMPLICATED.

In my case, since I have Master Degree, my lawyer said it is enough for EB2, and we do not have any expeirence requirement in job description.

Again, thank you guys who posted your experience here. I really learned a lot and it helped me go through this painful anxious waiting period.
