My PD is current! what's next ?

Greetings folks,
my PD was passed by the new VB, i'm F2A category, can someone tell me what's next ? and what's the timeline ? approximately of course, i would appreciate and reading on the subject or any link. (especially the time thing)

I'm in the same situation. If your priority date is current , it simply means you are now eligible to apply for AOS.

this is exactly my question, i am not living in the states at the moment, i have never went there. do i ask my petitioner (my mom) to apply for an AOS, or do we wait for the forms (I-864 and DS-3032) and apply those ?
and what is the time needed for me to be onboard of a flight to the US !?

Ok, well it's a little different for you then if you are not in the states.

what it means is that :

1. You will not apply for adjustment of status, you will apply for an immigrant visa instead.

This is what you need to do then. If you have not already been notified by your embassy or consulate then you need to go there in person and show them your approval notice that your priority date is current.

They will give you an immigrant visa package that should contain all the required documents and information that you need to apply for an immigrant visa .

as soon as you provide what they ask for, you should be issued your visa.
