my options if the employer withdraws the I-140

I have my EAD/AP/140 approval. In december, i will hit the 180 day mark, when i plan to make use of AC21 by switching to another job. Now my employer is exploring the option of withdrawing the 140, what purpose does it really solve for them?

Also what options should i start looking into?

------ you may be knowing the reason why employer wants to revoke your I-140. try to request him not to send letter to revoke your I-140. I dont know how you are going to convince him, try some trick that he or his lawyer does not mail the letter to USCIS till your I-485 pending hits 180 days from RD.
Also what options should i start looking into?
