Hi ,

Looks like all those folks who got FP'ed close to their ND near Jan/Feb'02 time frame are getting RFEs and approval notices. For those of you like me who got FP'ed 13 months later , I guess we have a long time to go becoz I think BCIS is giving priority to those cases where FPs will soon expire. This explains the big gap in action between Dec-Jan'02 (#s 76-99). We are seeing a significant amount of approvals/RFEs in 100s range.

Any comments....??

Well, like I mentioned.. I was Fp'ed 13-14 months later.

ND - 01/28/02
FP - 03/01/03
and I'm still waiting.....in vain.

So, you see what the problem is...

It's discouraging to see some people getting RFEs/approved even though they applied much much later in the game. I don't know how many people share my sentiments.... Lucky they is all I can say!!

smg you've had a 2nd fp, you're a rare case. WAC02046 scanner as of today has 119 resumed cases, of which only 9 are 2nd FPs. .. and that's not even counting the "received" cases .. those folks haven't had their statuses change from way back when I was still a kid in shorts.

WAC02111 filed in Feb 02. FPwas done in June 02. So my FP will expires in Sep 03.
 
Hey SM,

You are not reading my post carefully....yes sire baap, that is my FIRST FP....what a gap between my ND and 1st FP!!! So, you can very well understand what I'm going thru...especially when I'm in a lot of health problems (I'm currently on Medical Leave and this GC thing is making things worse!!)

Not true, there are lots of April cases which are RFE'd/Approved.

What I meant was people who got FP'ed 3-4months within their ND in JAn/Feb'02 are getting priority so that their FPs don't expire! That would explain why April'02 people are getting RFEs and approvals.

By the way, could you please post your I-485 timeline so far?

Well, I got fp'ed on march 07 02. Applied for 485 on Jan 04 '02. Still waiting...

However I wouldn't complain if they approve mine right now ;-)

No, that would NOT explain why April02 apps are getting RFEs and approvals.
Feb & March,02 have earlier FPs and their FPs would expire before April ones.

RD/ND : march 02. (Now you know why Im upset about April being blessed :) )
FP done: May end 02.
FP expires in another 2 months.
 
2nd FP notice recd..

2nd FP notice received and Figer printed.
Ist FP done in Mar'02.
2nd FP received and done in May'03.
I am not sure how exactly this 2nd FP is triggered. Is this automatic after 15 months or does the IIO send this once the case is assigned to him/her? Didnot receive any RFE though.
Any thoughts?
