My name check CLEARED!!!!

who is your congressman?

Which state are you from?... looks like your congressman is did a great job... I am from Maryland and nobody is giving dam about sending a letter to FBI. They simply saying that they can not contact FBI regarding name check. Is it true around Maryland and Virginia area?

america_dream,

When I went to the congressman's office the first time, I was asked to fill up a form detailing my case details. They had told me that they will inquire with FBI since its' FBI problem. They had said, generally they receive feedback from FBI in 30 days and when that happens they will call me.

So, when I did not get their call, I had called the lady at congressman's office that was handling handling my case. She spoke to me and had told me they had not heard any thing from FBI and will call me when they do so.

I may have a message from them in my office audix. Today I got a letter from the congressman's office on his letter head saying following:

"Dear _________,

I rerecently received a reply from the FBI in response to my inquiry on your behalf.

I have been informed that a review of the FBI's name check program data base reveals that a request for a name check was received from the USCIS on 10/10/2005. The submission was processed and finalized on 10/10/2007. Consequently, the results were forwarded to the USCIS headquarters in Washington, DC.

I trust that this response is to your satisfaction. If you should require, further assistance, please feel free to contact my ____ office.

With best regards, I am

______________
Member of Congress

Hint::

I live a in state that holds world's financial headquarter :-).

One more hint:

We are decomcrates and not (jerk) republicans!!!!

I used to live before in VA and I know MD and VA senators and congressmen are VERY BUSY playing games/scandals of all types while Tristate congressmen and senators are doing "real" work!! :-)..

After all Indian bussiness people in tristate area are major financial source for political stuff and as we all know in the North East US Indians RULE the bussiness class community.

Good luck to your cleared NC.

I called TSC two months ago, and was told Name Check was not cleared. Atfterwards I wrote to both senator and congressman in my state, I got general responses same as I could get from TSC center. Now I know some organizations such as immigration voice and legal immigrant are fighting for speedy name checking, recapture of unused GC number, but we still have to wait for the improvement.

My case have been pending since Aug 2005 though my category has been current since then. I keep hearing the same story that my name check has been pending ...blah blah....

But in last two months I took three infopass appointment and spoke with IO and they all told me with the specific date that my name check has been cleared as of 31 May 2007.

But got a letter last week from USCIS after service center inquiry that case has been pending due to background check and contact us after six months....??

Is background check and name check not same....?

Any idea what to do....?

Just believe what infopass says... don't believe a thing in response to a service request from NCS... given the unnecessary work load these things seem common these days..... In my case similar thing happed. Service request response said that I missed my FP appointment even though I had given...
