my n 400 was rejected...help!

my n 400 was rejected for a stupid reason...i dated the check in the future.do i have to refill another form over again knowing that the n 400 itself was flawless?they wrote on the side of it...or can i just resend the n 400 as it was received in my mailbox today?

When was it rejected? Before the interview? Did they just send everything back to you? If so, just write a new with the current date. Why did you post date it???
