Hi friends,
I am posting this thread to let you guys know that after 3 rejections in last seven years, my mother got her visitor visa in Feb this year. Until now, her status and family situations were not favoring her to get the visa. She is a widowed and her both kids (myself and my sister) live outside of India. She is living all by herself.
This time, we did things little differently. We hired an agent who helped to prepare all the documents and also provided some interview techniques to my mother which really boosted her confidence.
Secondly, I approached local senator and a congresswoman who sent a letter of support to the US embassy.
She carried all the documents which are normally required for the visitor visa.
At the consulate, they did not even check a single document and asked few questions and then gave her a visa.
Offcourse, we prayed a lot to God this time. I am a big believer in God.
Hope this information helps people in a similar situations.
Thanks,
