My L1 expires in April 2010 but my I94 valid till Apr 2011. Can i Apply for B visa for my parents

Hi,

MY L1 visa is expiring in Apr 2010. But my I94 is valid till Apr 2011. I may not be applying for L1 extension now as my I94 is valid till 2011.

I am thinking of to apply for visitor visa for my parents next month and planning to bring them here some time before January.

Will they have any problems getting the Visa?

If they get the visa can they stay with me after April 2010 as i will not have status.

Can some one please answer my questions.

They will apply for their visas, not you. Their visa application is independent of your I-94.
