Wow! It seems to be a very quick process from approval to stamping to card in hand. My approval was May 7/04, it was posted yesterday, my appt for stamping is this Friday afternoon, so I should have card in hand within the next 2-3 weeks. Sounds great after these 2-3 years of waiting for I-485 approval!

It is quick from PP stamped to card received for you. It sounds like if you are a non immigrant, you are nothing. You can be in the queue for ever. But once you become an immigrant, they treat you much better.
