My J1 status expires in a month and would like to transfer to H4 (my husband has H1b).

I know I need to submit a I-539 form online but what else do I have to do? Do I also have to submit some documents (marriage certificate or others)? I am not subject to Section 212(e)'s two year residence requirement. I've been on J1 since 2006. Please advise

Should have no problem in getting H-4 based on the information that you provided.
