2-i have a nursing diploma(3 years course )- not a formal high school degree- is that going to be a problem?

3- i lived my life in Kuwait then moved to Qatar, i have police clearance from qatar & Jordan my home town but from Kuwait I could not get since my residency is no longer exist there and they only provid it for residents, any problem of not having it from Kuwait?

I am a a senior electrical engineer, and my wife who won the lottery is a nurse, does this improve our chances in the interview?

thank you.

Education or Work Experience: You must have either a high school education or its equivalent, defined as successful completion of a 12-year course of elementary and secondary education; OR two years of work experience within the past five years in an occupation requiring at least two years of training or experience to perform. The U.S. Department of Labor’s O*Net OnLine database will be used to determine qualifying work experience

within the past five years, two years of experience in an occupation that is designated as Job Zone 4 or 5, classified in a Specific Vocational Preparation (SVP) range of 7.0 or higher.

thanks guys for the responces. the nursing dipolam was obtained after completing 12 years in school. is this enough?

today i recieved a request from the US embassy to bring my wife's education cirtificate one month before the actual interview date. is this normal?
what to expect from them to do?

1. Only your wife must meet the educational and/or working requirement

2. Did she complete a 12 year course? Going 12 years to school does not mean you complete is successful. She nees a highschool equivalent.

or

3. She need to meet thru work experience. If you check http://online.onetcenter.org/find/result?s=nurse&g=Go you'll see, a registered nurse is not in the right SVP range and does not qualify. That means, you need to figure something taht is in the right range and bring proof of it (letter from employer).

shall I quit this process or go ahead and take a chance?

Dear Ahmad, everything is fine ......

Dear Ahmad, I think you are suffering from what I can call before interview stress, and that is normal thing since all of us passed through it, but believe me everything is simple, easy & friendly going process, and I am sure I will hear your confirmation on this when you post your interview experience, about the educational proof, let me tell you my experience since I am the principal applicant, I submitted my high secondary school certificate as well as my business administrative bachelor degree, but on top of this they asked me my current job employment letter, and I was ready with that since it was mentioned in the second notification letter (Interview Required Documents List) so if you want to become USA LPR as DV winner right, why not to give them their right to check their new LPR documents and previous life history records, Dear Ahmad take it easy, really everything is normal and simple, just make sure you are prepared with all requested interview documents, and also translated to English incase some of original documents are in Arabic, my request to you is not to forget to provide this forum with your successful interview experience, wish you all the best, and congratulation in advance.
