Here is my experience
Mine was case of future employment where I had worked for company A thern changed to company B when company B sold our division to company C
I filed GC with company A for future employment. I140 was approved on May 14 2003. I was called on interview for June 30 withouut any document.
Officer was very nice lady. she took oath from us to tell all truth.
My lawyer had given me May 12 2005 Memorandum on AC21 case printout(do not know where it is on internet)
When going got tough she decided to talk to supervisor which she did. I showed her memo. She asked me if I have letter from company A that I ever
worked for her. I showed her the letter. Immediately she spporved case. I think she wanted to check if company A is just doing GC as I have some connection or they know my work.
I think intent and truthfulness is important. Do not fear during interview.
I was afraid a lot unnecessary and I think that made her interrogate me more.
And Bring all possible documents with you. keep immergency separate. you never know whch one will be needed by you.
Regards
Paresh
