I had my interview for green card based on marriage today in detroit at 1pm and it got approved.
Guys let me tell u something i am 25 and i m from india and my wife is 40 she is an american.we met online in july 2009 and married on january 2010. and also i am out of status.
Today my interview was very wierd.it took around 40 mins for the interview.i was there for 20 mins and the io interviewed my wife separately for 20 mins.my wife did a great job they didnt asked for any docs.she just questioned on our relationship and when i am gone my wife talked to her just like a frnd.
Io asked my wife that why did u married a young man?
My wife said,who said that man should be older than a women.
Io said u are right.
Io said do u know these days lot of fake mrgs are happening?
My wife said i dont know but i love my husband and said lot of good stuff abt me
and io said u will receive the letter in couple of weeks,
she didnt even stamped in my passport.\
and we left the building.
Here is the best part,we are returning to home we went to mc donalds to grab some food.we were at the parking lot and i got the text msg and email saying that they ordered production of new card and i will be receiving in 30 days(its just 1 hour after the interview i got the email that gc is approved).
I really worked hard for this with out any lawyer and thanks to everyone in this forum for ur help and finaly it got approved.
