MY I 485 Approved

How do we know If I-140 is applied for CP or AOS in US? Please help

I applied I-485 In 7/23/01 in US. I am from Rapidigm. still waiting on approval..

140 approval notice has

something in the following lines "copy of your approval notice has been sent to NVC and will be sent to local consulate " etc.
If you are from rapidigm ,then it\'s filed for CP
 
Thank you ramesh, i am from rapidigm and i just looked at my i-140 it says Approval of i-140 notice

I called the NVC number with I-140 receipt number it says the adjustment application has been sent \'CHENNAI". I am confused now.
I gotmy FP done on 1/17/2002 in KS and i have EAD & FP. I am living in KS now.
Do i need to do any thing about my I-485. Please advise
 
I don\'t think we have to worry.. if our I-140 was sent to CP

I heard mixed thoughts... One of my friend got his approval late because his I-140 went for CP. Lately, we have seen quite a few cases that got approved without delay though their I-140\'s went for CP. I myself am worried, but never dared to ask an IIO about it, as my case was not assigned to officer yet. I know that my I-140 went for CP to chennai consulate.
 
I didn\'t call any where for getting the 140 approval back to INS

I haven\'t called any where for getting 140 approval notice back to INS. I think we are fine.
Dont get confused ,I think things are allright.I went through the same confused path but it got approved.
