My I-140 and I-485 got denied. My spouse is working on EAD as a Permanent Employee. Will her EAD become void or do we have any waiting period .
Do we have any time frame or validity .Does she have to inform her company that her EAD is invalid and stop working for a while

My lawyer is re-applying this case on Friday.

The EAD is invalid. There is a small window to file a MTR (motion to re-open). I think that is 30 days.

I think MTR along with Appeal will give you around 1 year. I think during the appeal the current EAD should be valid, it might be difficult to get it renewed though while your case in under appeal.

Good luck. I can undestand that you will be under lot of stress from now till favourble decision is made in your case.

Do you know the reason for the denial??

what's the cause for denail?
re-applying this case on Friday? Is it MTR????

if you apply Appeal on 140..then LOGICALLY all cases( 485/EAD/AP) are in Pending. Then your spouse can continue to use EAD.

Any way get clear pic from USCIS. Let this community know.
