Hi,

I really need help on this. I filed my I-140 and I-485 as an outstanding researcher in california last october. I had to go through enormous documents preparation including recommendation letters.

I had 13 papers published in renouned journals and 7 conference papers. I am involved in nitride works. I've got 8 recommendation letters all over the world.

The reason BCIS denied my case is due to lack of awards and
no significant usage of my pioneered works in the field. I don't really understand those can be real the reasons.

Any comments on this matter?

Now, my company was bought by a new company, which hired me
for the same position. However, many PhDs got out and very small number of people stayed.

My attorney told me that I should go for I-140 as outstanding researcher and NIW and I doubt I could do that after one case denied.

What can I do? Another I-140 is doable and the best bet?
I've heard that there is self-filed case. Am I eligible for that?

Please help me on this. Thank you.
