my i 130 was approve whats next

hi all i was wondering what is the next step after having your I -130 approve but not being eligible to file for AOS.you see am married to a greencard holder who is gonna file for citizenship in November which i know would speed up my process but am not to sure on what next to do,i've receive my approval notice which says that the uscis have sent the approved petition to the nvc for a visa ,what those all this really mean i think i understand but it would be great to hear from others who been through this ,a little bit about me .am in the US and me and my wife have a son together ,she make up to 30 to 50 thousand a year 50 if she really do more hour's .i was told that i since she is still a GC holder that am not allowed to file for the I-485 or any other until they are approved 1 at a time.My time line is 4/2/07 and i got approved on 6/19/09 and that was the I-130 that i got approved for any help would be welcome thanks in advance
 
You just need to maintain your current status until your priority date becomes current OR your spouse becomes a US Citizen. Then, you can do AOS.
