My Green Card has been expired for over 2 yrs

hello everone,

quick question, hopping that someone can repply soon...

My green card has been expired for over 2 yrs now and I've been married with a US citizen for over 9 yrs with 2 children. Now my question is, Do I require to renew my Green Card or do I just go straight and apply for citizenship.

HELP ANYONE....

I was a military dependant when i got my GC. I believe its a 10 year. I gues this makes it uncoditional.
