My golden guess cut off number for Asia DV-2013!

As October selectees not yet publish, let me guess the cut off number!

Until now, 17XX perera1987 and 18XX nepa2013 still no 2NL, I suppose 2NL will receive before 8 weeks of interview, now until 14th November 2012 is 8 weeks, so I estimate, actual cut off number at mid November still under 15XX, I assume it is around 13XX, so end of November should be 17XX

November 2350
December 2700 (But actual around 2000)
January 3000
February 3300
March 3800
April 4300
May 4800
June 5300
July 5800
August 6300
September CURRENT

If I have time, I'll adjust my estimation if October selectees was out, and every VB was out!

Nah, I won't agree with you. I have seen an Asian winner with case number 87**, we absolutely don't know whether
that is the largest Asian case number or not. There could be Asian winners with case numbers above 15000, because this year
we have 16000 Asian winners. Moreover, more winners are going to be selected in 1st October, so that would add to that number.
I think they would go faster than your guess, possibly with an average of 600 per month from now on. Or maybe more.
The next bulletin will solve all the mysterious. We cannot say anything for sure before that. Let's see what happens, and
hope for the best. And one more thing, I believe that you are a May candidate with your case number 8***.

By October selectees you mean new winners who are going to be selected in 1st October 2012. I get that. What do you mean by "every vb was out"????

I think DoS may not select more Asia selectees but we can wait. Until now, I never heard Asia DV-2013 winners case number more than 10,000, for example, knights1 is the highest in this forum.

Yes, I want go to USA, but in past experience of DV-2006 and DV-2007, cut off number is very low

May be your guess is right. I didint received my 2nd NL yet :(
 
In normal, you should receive 2NL before 2 months / 8 weeks, it's weird.

I think one of the possible is, too many people return DS-230 this year, as 9,xxxx winners + spouse + dependent may be around 20,000 person, but Asia visa around 8,xxx every years!
 
FWIW Asia CN

To help immgrat, FWIW the largest Asia CN I have seen till now is mine : 2013AS000096XX

At some level I have given up hope for this year, just too slow progress on CN count....

Don't worry. Everybody will get current. The question is that you could get current late in the year, but surely you would get current.

How come you keep insisting there will be more selections on 1 Oct? Do you know something everybody else don't? Where is the proof given you are so confident? I haven't seen anything anywhere official confirming this, other than that message on the DV page which brings with it all its ambiguities.

The reason is because it is the first time in the history of DV that they are talking about another selection. So, I think they will do it.
 
ya...ur are right mdawoodm....the highest muber i've seen from asia is 96xx. so i think in may 1st kcc selected only 10000 winners form asia. the rest of the 6000 will be selected in october 1st who would have case number greater than 10000 upto 16000. also we have not seen any numbers from 10000 to 16000 from around the world..

The highest case number is not 9600 for Asia anymore. It is 105**, who is from Nepal. There are people over 11000 as well. A consultancy told me who were dealing with those case numbers.

regarding the cut off number, i totally disagree.. kcc will surely accelerate in upcoming months for the Asians..
