My GC is missing and I will be due for the oath shortly... help me please!

My GC is missing. My IO said that my oath date would be in late June of mid July.

Can I attend the oath ceremony without a GC? Will they cut me some slack if I bring a police report and a photocopy of the GC to the ceremony?

As far as I can recall, so long as you have notified USCIS about the lost GC, and maybe as a result got a temp I-551 in your passport, you should be ok.

Probably the best thing to do would be to take an Infopass appointment and discuss it with someone at the local DO.

Make every attempt to find it. Then go to InfoPass and discuss it.
