My Friends attorney has a totally different view regarding processing!!!

She said she got a approval for Sep2(RD and not ND) and she agrees that was a surprise to her as well. She again said INS VErmont is processing August cases with full speed!!!!. All the slow down in processing is just occuring in mind of applicants or in otherwords she says those are rumours.
As far as why we don\'t see approvals on this board. Her answer was a question!!! and that was what percent of applicants do you think visit board???. And I have to agree in my company 6 people with July RD got approved last month none of them posted here. Considering that ratio is 1/7!!!!!. So guys no approval here does not mean VSC is slow.

You may be right but this board is a samlpe of what VSC is doing. There should be a few approvals he

Total approvals of July RD in March,April,May are 305

All these approvals are posted mainly here,rupnet,and some in nairobi and other discussion forums.
Still some 138 people are left in rupnet.com

Any clue how many people would have filed in July?

The last 2 paras say:
=========================
Major volumes in March 2002 receipts include ...... 55,399 I-485 permanent resident adjustments ....

...pending cases at the end of March 2002 include .... 858,941 I-485 permanent resident adjustments.
===========================
The figures must be nation-wide, but give you an idea how many applications (485) per month and how many are pending. Is it reasonable to say that July 2001 would have significantly higher volume than March 2002? (You may be able to estimate from the graph)

I think most(70-80%) of the left overs(138) just do not bother back to post after their approval ,

based on the previous experience, there are around 4/1-1/3 people just walk away quietly after their approval! So, according to the rupnet, if we count the 1/4-1/3 of the total numbers have been approved already but do not bother to post, we get pretty good percentage of approval for July cases (70%-80%). just my 2 cents.
