My experience on inquiring I-485 processing time with NSC

I just made a call to the 800 number to inquire about my case. The lady who answered my call told me that they could only inquire cases that are older than 2 years . My RD was on 7/18/01, so I couldn't make any inquiry on my case for another week. Is this the same experience as what you folks had too?

I'm more inclined to assume that the ND would most likely be the date they reference since that's what's been used on the processing time updates each month on the immigration.com website.

On a more upbeat note, it looks like any cases that are older than 2 years would most likely be processed soon.

Hang in there, folks. I guess it's at least 2 years of waiting nowadays, instead of the 450-480 day time window.

My friend called an IIo 15 days back he was told that it will take
another 6 months for approval. But he got approval last week!
He filed in Jan 2002!

What category is he belong to EB1/2/3 and which country he belongs to. Any derivative applications filed after filing I485,
