Hello Gurus,
I went to India and returned back to US on AP on 12th october 03. I flew with British Airways.
At Chennai
BA at chennai asked if I had GC ? I said AP, they had a look and gave it back to me.
At London Heathrow
Before boarding one BA rep double checked my AP and allowed me to board the flight.
Immigration at US.
I gave the AP and passport to the Immigration officer and the immigration officer asked if I was sponsered by employer. I said yes. I gave one AP, but the officer asked for all the AP's (3 no's). She stamped on all the APs and the passport and I-94 with a parole rubber stamp. She wrote the following in the stamp. A# number and she also wrote the expiry date 11th October 2004. She also scribbled (voided) my previous H1B visas.
My questions here is , my EAd and AP expires on 04/07/2004. But what does it mean that 11th october 2004 put by Immigration officer at POE? Does it mean that my AP is valid till 11th of Oct 2004?
Please let me know what it means and any suggesstions.
Thanks,
