Congratulations tomohawk !!! you are one of the luckiest guys....enjoy the freedom....my 485 receipt date is almost near yours....but still no luck...here are the details...

It came as a shock. I went to infopass and was told my application is in background check. That news really sent me to depression. Then again I called NSC and was told my NC and background check was cleared and waiting in line to be approved. I was confused. I called again to check with an IO, the nice lady told me my background check is pending, wait for 6 months. I gave up hope. I open a service request on 6/7/2007. Last thursday
I sent a fax to our senetor to open an enquiry. Today on monday I got approval.

Except for the wait time in retrogression everything went smooth. No rfes etc.

I was a quite a journey with a not of anxiety.

1999 went for H1B
2000 Completed Masters
2002 sept Applied for labor
2004 Applied 140/485
2005 140 Approved
3 EADS/ APs


2007-6-18 GC approved

I am glad the long wait is over. Enjoy your freedom of GC:D . Looks like NSC is now working on approving many cases, I hope they will continue to do more and more in next few months.:D

Most our our dates (labor filing date, I140 AD's, I485 RD's) are very close including the approval date.
