My concern is an interim EAD

Thanks for information.

My spouse has filed a renew application for EAD in Last Nov. Obviously, with CSC's speed, it is impossible to receive it before
the present one expires (02/21/03), therefore, there is
not way except for an iEAD.

I want to know what documents are needed when my
spouse applies iEAD in an INS local office.
 
You would need the Original of the EAD Receipt(Copy is acceptable). I had been to Santa Ana for renewing my I-EAD and got it the same day yesterday.

How hong did you take on yesterday (Friday? from when to
when). I appreciate your reply.

take your passport and I-485 receipt as well for I-EAD.
And you should be residing in santa clara county to be serviced by SJ office otherwise, you would need to go to SFO office.
